If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...
Great location...5 minutes walk to Rialto Bridge or St Mark's Square. Boat dock makes for easy water taxi access. Breakfast was a great way to start each day and cocktails on the roof too terrace a great way to end the day. And if course, the people and service were amazing! We will surely return...thank you Splendid for a memorable stay.

Beautiful hotel, excellent rooms (albeit small). Perfect location. Staff not very engaging -- seem overwhelmed with tourists so can't totally blame them. Room service water €8/bottle, and you can't drink the tap water, so sensed a bit of exploitation there. Management needs to pay the staff more and make bottled water for guests, free.

The staff have been excellent. The rooms are gorgeous! Centrally located to all the main sites. The maid service is immpecable. Se delicious free breakfast. I am so happy we staid here and highly recommend it!

We booked a 3 city tour of Italy through Costco, and weren't really expecting remarkable hotels. Were we wrong! The Venice Starhotel was the favorite of our trip. We traveled with our two daughters, ages 12 and 10, and were booked a Junior Suite. It was spacious and clean, and the staff was INCREDIBLE! The toiletries that we were provided were abundant, and the housekeeping service was excellent (both morning and evening turn down). The hotel is located right on a canal, so when we booked a water taxi to the airport, we literally took 12 steps from the lobby to the boat...super convenient. The hotel is located near several main piazzas, but was quiet and just slightly off the beat and path. There is a rooftop terrace that was very nice for pictures during the day, and to relax with a nightcap in the evening. The restaurant in the hotel, though a little pricey, was our favorite dinner while in Venice, and the complimentary breakfast with our package was a wonderful way to start the day. If we are fortunate enough to make it back to Venice one day, we will definitely be staying at this hotel.
