It was A Wonderful Honey Moon celebration, my husband and I enjoyed every moment, The Room was really beautiful, very clean, quiet. All the staff were so kind, nice and gentle, they behave in a professional way, but in a sweet way. Thank you so much Hotel Monaco and Grand Canal for your amazing service. We just love it.

We came here for a quick meal and a bottle of wine after checking out Harry’s bar across the way. Not only was the service excellent but we were rather entertained watching the boat traffic go by as well as the swarm of gondolas circling the docks right next to the patio. If you’re looking for a relaxed drink, here’s your place

It's a nice enough hotel - it feels like it is more business focused than vacation focused. The rooms seem well appointed; though they put us in a disabled room; even though we were able bodied - but I guess if you were disabled it was well appointed (seat in the shower, hand supports for the toilet - that kind of thing - though the bed was curiously high for being a disabled access room. The view was out onto the alley; not onto a canal or the river front. Well located in the centre (front) of the island; next to Harry's Bar (if you have money to burn). Always a plethora of gondolas in front of the hotel. All, in all; you could do worse - but look elsewhere if you're looking for romantic or boutique.
