This is the second time we have stayed at Hotel Abbazia and we do not even bother looking anywhere else. The location could not be more perfect. The staff is excellent. Our flight was two hours ahead of schedule and Alvise not only held our luggage while our room was readied, but he offered us an excellent complimentary breakfast while we shook off our jet lag. We will return. Thank you, Alvise, for your excellent hospitality.

Beautiful courtyard garden in the middle of a busy city. Very convenient to the Venezia Santa Lucia train station and the water taxis. Very helpful and welcoming staff.

Nice room although small and the windows were open when we got there so we had mosquito bites the next morning, it would be nice if they had coffee and tea available in each room other than that the personnel is very nice and the breakfast is great (European style of course)

This hotel is very conveniently located. The hotel staff is super friendly, helpful and funny. When we arrived we were disappointed by our room (if was the least updated of any in our group). I asked for a room switch and the staff gave us a new room and moved all of our items into it while we were sightseeing. It was HOT during our visit to Venice and the rooms stayed very cool. Staying in this hotel gives you a very authentic Italian experience.

The hotel is down a quiet alley, which might seem weird at first. However, once you walk in, you are greeted by amazing staff. The hotel itself is beautiful, reach room having a different look. The bathrooms are made of marble and there is a fantastic, quiet garden where you can relax after a long day in Venice.
