Prezzi onesti.

Despite the beautiful setting on top of the edge of Vasto with views over the adriatic, which this restaurant clearly relies on for trade, i would still tell people to avoid it. We have eaten here a few times and have now given up as each time it got worse. We were recommended by the owner to try the mixed seafood platter, bearing in mind we are in a fishing town, which we did, and were given a plate of pickled and previously frozen shrimp. There was not one fresh piece of fish on the plate. She charged us €25 for this. The second time I ordered spaghetti with clams, and I got 6 clams! I have ordered this in La Pergola restaurant and when it was served it had 25 clams in it. This shows you just how bad it is. The last time we went, we ordered pizza, and when it turned up, it was a frozen packet pizza like the ones you get in a supermarket. The base was bready and awful and the toppings sparse on an awful tomato base. Again, if you want a pizza, go to La Pergola, when the owner and chef Enzo stretches the dough and makes the pizza to order fresh in front of you. In Italy, there is no excuse for this type of crap, as fresh local produce is extremely easy to buy, and there is a local market only 4 minutes walk from this restaurant, along with a fishmongers. The restaurant relies on the unsuspecting holiday crowd and in winter it sometimes closes as no locals will go near it. Avoid
