Porta Palatina is the the only worthy historical and tourist attraction here. The amphitheatre is closed from public access (you need a ticket for the nearby museum to gain access). Plenty of loose dogs in the park running around with the accompanying dog feces laying around (owners ignoring the regulations and rules displayed on boards by the park entrances). Not safe for children with so many loose dogs about. Dog owners very unpleasant about you leaving the public park gates slightly open and remarking you (the tourist following the rules) to close it or else their unleashed dog may escape...

Knowing that these Palatine towers are older than Jesus and the fact that you can touch them is mind boggling. A must go on your bucket list!
