I must admit it: very few places are as refined and old-style as this fabulous cafeteria! Go there and taste a Cioccolata Calda!

I do love this cafe. I recently discovered my new favourite drink there, the Caffe Baratti e Milano - espresso coffee topped with fresh whipped cream and hazelnuts... to die for! However, I have to comment on the service. The woman at the front of the coffee house (who takes your payment) is consistently rude. I paid with coins the last time I was there, and she made a comment that I was taking too long (although there was no line) and she added a "Mama Mia" (yes, this is Italy) to me handing her the coins. This was not a one-off, as she has been rude each time I have come. I love this place, the atmosphere, the drinks, but for the prices they charge, the management staff need to work on their customer service.

What a disappointment ! The so-called institution of Turino should change sharply
..
- out-dated place with a huge potential however (magnificent decoration)
- no cold drink instead of Coca-Cola, water, and common drinks you could find in a vending machine.
- the only good drink you could take there is the chocolate (good luck when the weather is warm)
- poor choice of snacks for teatime
- unconcerned staff so that I though the waiter was dumb
