Great Hotel. Awesome location. We stayed in room 302, it was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful and large bathroom. Also, a really nice spa, and a rooftop bar which is great at night.

Good location in the old Rome. Walking distance to all the major tourists sites. A wonderful hotel with high standards. The staff is helpful and kind. Rely fast to answer questions on e-mail and they are all rely good in the English language. The breakfast is continental which in Italy is unusual. The spa is free to use. And the rooftop bar has a cosey atmosphere. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Myself, my mother, and my best friend were traveling for 4 nights and 5 days to this fantastic city of culture and art, but we were met with a disgraceful attitude by the hotel, who knows that we are at the mercy of their staff and hidden policies.
The Hotel does not notify you that you cannot bring 3 people to a "specific category of room". This means that in order to even have the permission to be charged extra, your room must be in a category of "presidential suite" or "Family Suite".
When checking in, I told them that I would have an extra guest for a few of the nights and they told me it would be absolutely no problem if he would like to sleep on the floor. I even upgraded the room for an extra $40 a night if it meant having extra space and pleasing the hotel who were so intent on upgrading our room.
I double checked to be sure that this would mean our extra guest would stay comfortably, and Jon assured us so.
We stayed 3 nights since we were made so uncomfortable by the staff, and actually had to leave to Positano and stay overnight because I did not want to go back to this junkyard.
On the second night, My guest was arriving late, and we were stopped in the MIDDLE of the night, (the hotel locks its doors to its own guests and makes you ring a doorbell, and forces everybody to show passports or ID who want to come to the room....good luck bringing any girls here or anybody you meet in the city)
They told us that we are not allowed to have three guests in the room, even if I was paying for the extra guest, because the space in the room did not allow for an extra "rollaway bed"
I kindly informed staff that I had already been told that I was being charged extra per night for my guest and that he was sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag, and did not need a roll away bed.
I was told that he needed to leave by 5AM or I would be removed from the hotel with police force.
Wow. Ok. Thanks, I just paid you guys near 2000$ and you want more money from me? Then you say you want to refuse my money based on the room category booked?
I told the hotel to go ahead and call the police and I went up to my room and slept for the night, to leave to Positano in the morning, and stayed the night in Positano and lost my value of the room for one night due to the discomfort that the hotel staff had caused.
I paid 520 Euros to stay in Positano, where they gave NO TROUBLE to my extra guest,
But in Hotel Lunetta in Rome they lock hotel doors on their guests in order to verify who is coming in and out of the hotel in order to charge you extra per guest or refuse you service entirely.
They know that you are 5000-10000 Miles away from home and that they can squeeze your neck out here.
Not me. I don't have money issues. I told them loud and clear I would go get another hotel where I wouldn't be treated like a child who needed permission to have a guest in his hotel room.
Furthermore, I was lied to by the staff about the guest policy and told it was OK!
For anybody else without money, this would be a situation of homelessness.
Very very disgraceful.
Upon checkout, they attempted to charge me extra for the guest PER NIGHT i was checked into the hotel, even though on the 3rd night, I WAS IN POSITANO, more than 200 miles away, nowhere to be found on their cameras!
No amount of money is good enough for these people. They want more and more. The staff are so due diligent about their jobs, they would kill to keep the jobs they have, and disregard any guests in the process.
I told them I refused to pay the extra 300+ Euros they wanted at checkout, took back my card, yelled and told them they had no right to do what they were doing and that they could check the Cameras to see that I didn't even STAY one of the nights!
The Staff then proceeded to call the police on my mother and my guest, in an attempt to try to get us to miss our train to Venice.
They then proceeded to cuss and scream and call me chicken. One staff member so much as even grabbing me by my collar and spitting in my face.
