Traditional place. Food was good and service fast. We ordered beef, veal, and salad.

My family and I ate dinner at La Fornace many times last October and had wonderful service, and very good food and the price is right! The waiters were great and very friendly. We had fun and a very relaxing time.We would recommend this restaurant especially if you are staying in the area.

What a great evening with Paolo and Luigi! Fantastic service and exceptional meal.... 10/10 would recommend - the Carbornara was wonderful.

A rather appalling experience had all round! After a pleasant evening the night before I found the experience to be rather distasteful!

Upon ordering my main course I found the waiter abrupt and dismissive of my requests as to what certain meals came with as accompaniments.

Finally on paying for the bill (including hidden surcharges) the waiter swiftly snatched the money from the table, suggesting that my family pilfar for a living!

On the whole I found the environment hostile and is certainly not one I would recommend to a fellow traveller.

For that reason I'm out!

If there was an option for no stars I wouldn't hesitate in making that verdict... one word 'shambolic'
