Interesting take on a seafood restaurant.
For our last meal in Rome, we thought we'd go for a fancy dinner and Le Vele came highly recommended.
Good selection of wines and the quality of the fish is very high.
We thought the bill was slightly too expensive but i guess you also pay for the experience.
It's a very classy place and we felt a little out of place but we were welcomed by the very kind manager who seated us at a window table and took our order, suggesting we go for a tasting menù.
We did and it did not dissapoint!
I recommend it if you are looking for a different night out with your partner.

Good food, bad service

We came here because of the fish recommendations. What we didn't know is, that the restaurant is split into the higher end fish part and a more basic bistro. We obviously looked a bit cheap, thus were guided into the bistro. That can happen. What can't happen is, that we didn't get another table even after asking for the fish menu (which we did get and ordered from). And it also can't happen that you have to wait for ages to be served. Also the personnel wasn't in sync on who served us and what was ordered.

So in the end we got descent food in a bistro with a price tag way beyond and service that was way below what you expect. I can only hope this was a one-time mistake. All the other ratings here point into that direction.
