Shorted me on change 1 euro. Was not personable and did not once speak to us other then to take our order. Only bright side is it's cheap.

Small bar and coffee shop with friendly staff! I don't speak any Italian but they were super friendly and patient while I ordered. We came here for a drink one night the glass of Prosecco was 3.50 euros and very delicious! The next morning we came for two coffees and one croissant total 7 euro. The croissants are so fresh and delicious !It is cash only just as a heads up .

The guy who rung me up for two pizza's "accidentally" rang me up exactly 4 euro short, when I handed him 5 euro, he took the one extra euro, and without even glancing in my direction, put it in the tip jar and moved on.
But that wasn't even the worst thing. When the other guy started making our pizza, he took it out of the freezer with his bare hands, and surrounded by flies proceeded to pick his nose, not once, but three times. Then he picked up a helping of cheese in those same hands and put it on the pizza and then in the oven. He then wiped something from his mouth (still with bare hands) and started on the other pizza.
It was absolutely disgusting. A huge health code violation (if that's a thing in the Riomaggiore... ).
My girlfriend and I decided to bail rather than risk food poisoning or whatever else was up that guys nose.
I tried talking to them and said we didn't want the pizza's anymore. Wasn't even trying to get my money back at this point. Figured 17 euro was a cheap lesson to avoid a larger issue down the road with this disgusting food.
They started getting angry and upset with me and flipped me off as I left. I never raised my voice. I just calmly told them we didn't want the pizza because of the health concerns and sanitary reasons.
Do not go here. They are thieves and disgusting food servers.

Great ambiance, but the staff are not very attentive (had to go inside bar to order on terrace). Right in the middle of riomaggiore so people watching is great. Pizza was good after a few drinks.

Drinks are delicious and the staff is friendly. They offer you a platter of nuts and chips when you sit down, but I don't know how fresh it is. The pizza was good... but only after a few drinks
