I was put in a room by stairs and elevator, on first floor, window facing where they hang laundry, below a road well traveled. I was woken every day by 5 or 6 am, and it was so loud I could not go back to sleep. My room was tiny, barely enough room for a bed and my suitcase with paper thin walls to also hear anything. No air flow if you closed the only window with no screen so bugs got in. The walls were marred and dingy. The bed was a weird memory foam. The towels were rock hard from being dried outside. No Kleenex for use. Scented cheap toilet paper... Ugh. Very outdated furnishings. Shower too small... you'd hit the handle whenever you moved, so youd burn or freeze with water. Toilet behind door almost inaccessible. I travel Europe slot and expect condensed but way too small. Lastly, didn't take Amex which I planned to pay with. Nothing said it was not accepted.
Free breakfast, close to new town, and nice folks running it, but it was just too outdated, dingy, and loud for the price. I wish I had known.

This hotel had a perfect location for exploring Cinque Terre. The room was cozy and clean. The front desk provides free beach towels and free breakfast every morning. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a most wonderful experience with this hotel, and appreciated the upgrade to an air conditioned room when we requested. The staff were fabulous, especially Domenico at the front desk who went out of his way to accommodate and welcome us. We live in NS, Canada, and I had left one of my purses behind in our room, but they sent it back to me!! I cannot express enough how much I appreciated that!! The location was excellent, near the beach, restaurants and shops. We loved our stay here and would return!

The staff was welcoming and accommodating and the hotel and grounds were immaculately clean and fresh. The lovely dining room (with fresh flowers, linen cloths, and pretty china) set the stage for enjoying a delicious breakfast of cakes, pastries, ham, cheese, dry cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit, and coffees. The location was perfect, with a short walking distance from the train station, food, shops, and gelato! Having flat terrain and also a lift in the hotel made the visit even more pleasant for this 73-yr-old lady.
