Experience was just mediocre, both in food and service. Went there because they have an agreement with the surrounding hotels for a discount, but after discount still feels pricey for the kind of service received; apparently they are seriously understaffed as there was only one waiter for a huge dining room, and that waiter frequently disappeared behind the kitchen door leaving the dining room unattended. As for the food, they don't ask for the cooking point for beef, and bring it almost rare which may be fine for some people but is extremely uncomfortable for others.
I had the "Filetto al pepe rosa" (Beef Tenderloin in Pink Pepper Sauce) which had a fine sauce but was too rare for my taste, I usually order medium or medium-rare but this one was seriously blue-rare.

Andare a pranzo e ad avere la scelta di un solo primo e di un solo secondo: neanche in mensa si trova una cosa simile. Inutile che lavoriate sul decoro della sala come conviene per un ricevimento di nozze, quando offrite solamente un piatto di fusilli ai 4 formaggi. Mi vergogno e chiedo scusa ai turisti di Modena che spero NON ENTRINO in questo locale.
