RIP OFF!!
Locauto Milan central station.
Very bad experience and their aim is just to take as much money from you as possible!! Just before returning the car i had to fill the tank to full, at the petrol station we filled it until the fuel started to spill out which meant the tank is full, BUT in the car's display the fuel meter didn't reach the full mark (probably something wrong with the car). When i returned the car the first question was if the tanks are full ( as if they already know the car won't be full), i said we tried to fill it up to full but something is wrong with your car, he replied 'OK you have to pay the refuelling sercice plus the fuel missing (around 10 littres)'. Which cost us 42 euros just for the service and 17 euros for the missing fuel. Thank god we paid for a full body insurence. They just ripped us!
Not recommended at all!

BE AWARE, RIP OFF!
I can confirm that they rip off customers.
I rented the car in Rome with lots of dents and scratches all around the car, all marked in the report. Now the guy named Alex claimed to have found a new one where already one was marked in rhe report I received at pickup.
Inconsistency or fraud, I can't tell. Definitely not a nice experience and Enterprise should try to find another agent in Italy
Another couple that returned their car at the same time seemed to have the same problem.

Horrible customer service! Due to a cancelled flight, we had to pick up the car one day after the initial plan. We had paid for the whole rental period (3 weeks) in advance. To be sure that it was ok to pick the car up one day into the rental period due to the flight cancellation, we called Locauto and explained the situation. The person om the phone said "that is ok with us, no problem that you pick the car up tomorrow instead". When collecting the car the day after, we were told that we had lost our booking as we did not collect the car the day before. We explained the situation and told them that we had called them the day before and that we were told it was not problem to collect the car one day late. The woman behind the desk at the office in Milan Central Station was persistant and said there was nothing she could do to help us. She took no responsibility for her collegue that had given us wrong information. She was not understanding and did not seem to care about us loosing the initial booking and suffering a economic loss. Horrible customer service and a very unproffessional company that I will never use again! It is sad that people have to deal with such companies when on holiday.

Pretty bad service.
These people don't speak English very well.
Andrea and specially Melissa and Claudia from Customer service all 3 of them... bad service.
They will try to sell you fuel prepaid option which supposed to apply only if you return the vehicle empty and it's 70 euros. So I purchased that but I returned the vehicle with full thank and they still charged me 70 euros for fuel. They don't even have a phone number to call and speak with them in English. So I had to fill up some online form on there website and 2 days later Claudia from Customer service responded that there is no chance I will get a return of 70 euros. By the way couple days later I rented a vehicle in Zurich from different company and they had same fuel option. I returned the vehicle full again and there was no charge for the fuel!!!
Please do not rent a vehicle from these people.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this car rental service as they either have an inconsistent approach to checking damages pre and post rental OR they are ripping off people and car insurance. We rented a white Suzuki Vitara from Milan Central station on Sunday morning and returned it today Tuesday evening at Malpensa airport. The staff member at Malpensa "noticed new scratches" on the right side rear door and plastic black covering just above the right side rear tire of the car although I'm 100% sure that the scratches on the door were already there and which we pointed out to the lady that rented the car out to us on Sunday. Apparently those scratches were not recorded and we have to pay 660 euros for these almost invisible marks that were already on the car prior to renting it. Luckily for us we took a full coverage insurance and will get the money back but imagine if we didn't this would be ridiculous. Our word against their (even if they are in the wrong). And in any case this is still a rip off for the insurance company as this could be done repeatedly even with the same car and so called "new scratches. So, unfortunately I cannot recommend Locauto if anything at all for their inconsistent checks!
