A "time machine" kind of place that takes you directly to the original architecture and decors of 1930's high-class industrial Milan. It's also the main location of my favorite movie "Io Sono l'Amore" and a real calm oasis in the centre of Milan.

High-fashion 20c villa designed by two architects... Portaluppi in high rationalist/Fascist style in the 30s, then Buzzi after the war in a more conventional style. Worth seeing.

Interesting history and great preservation of 1930s architecture. Only disappointments are the infrequent English tours (hourly?) and the lack of notification upon purchasing the tickets that areas of the house were closed for renovations.

By far the most beautiful house I've ever seen. Don't stop at the garden, book a visit inside the villa and enjoy a time travel in the soul of the milanese bourgeoisie of the 30ies. You'll discover the masterpiece of Piero Portaluppi, one of the architects that shaped the beauty of Milan.

Interesting to see interpretation of Art Deco in Italy in comparison with other European countries. Although quite a bit of the furnishings are not in keeping with the period.
