An authentic Bolognese restaurant with a great buzz. A bit away (2 or 3 minutes) from the main strip on Navigli Grande means that is cheaper but just as good. Menu only in Italian, so it helps to know something about Emelian food. Staff speak good English and will explain items but knowing the basics yourself gives more satisfaction.

Best pasta in Milano, friendliest waiter and best value (and tasty) wine in town! Had the vegetarian antipasto which was surprisingly delightful (hot tomatoes with garlicy breadcrumbs) and tagliatelle ragu.

Had the spinach ravioli with sage butter and the tagliatelle in ragu. Both were uniquely delicious. The pasta here is not so al dente as one finds in other parts of Italy. Portions are large enough to fill each person but enough to leave room for dessert. Enter the tiramisu - it's homemade and unique. Unlike the stiff over-powdered slices you get this is moist with a great cream. Must have.

Traditional Italian place, fresh pasta, friendly staff, the waiter suggested good dishes. The pasta with ricotta fresca is amazing.
