Excellent food and excellent service. We loved the fresh fish and the hospitality from Fracesco was second to none. The food here is very simply presented with no fuss so you can appreciate the freshness of the quality ingredients. The room is a bright simple space, nothing fussy. Great for lunch or a casual evening meal. Thanks to Fracesco and Sergio for taking the time to speak to us after our meal, we will certainly return.

The freshest fish I have ever tasted. The service here was courteous and kind. The ambiance was very simple, welcoming and seemed perfectly aware that the food would be able to speak for itself, which indeed it did. The recommendation of rosé went well with what we ordered. My boyfriend got the tuna carpaccio and the mixed fried seafood while I ordered the mussels and swordfish. All was amazing and as New Englanders they gave us a run for our money with regards to seafood.

I was impressed with the high ranking of L'Osterica Ubriaca (#5) on TripAdvisor and decided to check this place out and I was not disappointed. The fish was super fresh and prepared with care. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Francesco spoke English and explained the items on the menu. Although I did not need it, Francesco offered an English menu that was accurately translated.
The dishes were excellent (I had for the first time the Tajeddhra and liked it). The Rosato Negramaro by the glass was very nice (Francesco recommended it).
The only drawback, I did not appreciate the disposable plastic dishes and the cheap utensils (non disposable) and hence my 4 stars and not 5. Yet, the wine was served in the right glass (while the water in a disposable cup).
The price was very attractive
I will return with colleagues.
