OK hotel. Picked it up because it was close to the airport (15 min walk - although not particularly pedestrian friendly walk...)

Beautiful room, attendance, great bar with amazing prices, and the Restaurant menu for diner was delicious. Recomendations pasta, any kind, we order all of them, and it was extremely good. Breakfast is a must at the Restaurant. Nice lobby with lots of sofas.

Thin walls at this place. Woke up many times at night. Don't know how they get four stars. Friendly staff and good location to the airport.

The property was absolutely filthy. Dirty bed linen with blood stains. Dusty phones. All the rooms were in a poor state of disrepair. There were oil stains on the walls. We were forced to leave the hotel on the same night. The toilets were not working. The restaurant was closed on the day of our arrival and we were not informed. As a result there was also no room service. No airport shuttle for our flight next day. We had to leave the hotel at 10pm and had to find another hotel after having driven all the way from Pisa. There was No manager on duty at the hotel. The staff was rude. The mini bar was empty. If you need anything from the minibar, you need to go to the reception. The vending machine was not working. No tea coffee facilities in any of the rooms, which is something basic you expect from a 4 star hotel. The pictures are a 100% deceptive.

The room was nice, though outside the corridor lacked a lot. The nice style wasn't replicated at all. Felt like two different hotels. Minor damage in the room itself, the door nob to the bathroom was slightly pulled off and you can see the untreated rough wood. Breakfast was OK, enough for someone to start a day without being hungry. Not a lot of choices, automated coffee hot chocolate machine. Staff where friendly, helped us to understand how best to use our one day in Florence. Made it very easy to understand what bus to use, and how many stops it was. That really helped us. Overall 3/5 good staff.
