Hotel David far surpasses many of the hotels I have stayed at, and has been the best throughout our travels in Italy. I felt so "at home" here. The customer service is superior, and the complimentary nightly Happy Hour and morning breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend this hotel if you're making a stop in breathtaking Florence.

An overall great experience: We got a free room upgrade when we checked in. The room was clean and well maintained. We appreciated the free minibar stocked with water, soda and some beer and there were more complimentary services that we didn't use like the happy hour and the free international phone calls.
The service and staff was amazing: when we left the "do not disturb" sign on our door, housekeeping left a box with new towels, toiletries and water bottles outside of our door and when we checked out, they gave us 2 bus tickets free of charge to go to the central station. We will definitely come back next time we visit Florence.

Wonderful hotel in Florence, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The price was actually very good considering all of the free amenities(mini bar, happy hour, and breakfast). The hotel itself has great character and is only a 25 minute bus ride from the train station.
