My family and I have stayed here numerous times and the whole family agrees that this hotel deserves a five star rating. The location of the hotel is wonderful, the staff do above and beyond to make sure that you have a great stay, whatever it takes. Recommendations, reservations, etc. The free breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The complete hotel is spotless, and I am tough to please. If you want a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Florence that offers you a wonderful experience you can not go wrong booking this hotel. Chris Cali

The hotel staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. I felt like I was their house guest, rather than just a hotel guest. The hotel itself was very cute with lots of charm. I don't usually write reviews, but I absolutely loved my stay here and would highly recommend it.

Wonderful small hotel with great staff. Very comfortable if you want to get away from chain hotels. Just careful finding it can be a challenge! But worth it

Hotel Alessandra has all the charm of an old fashioned hotel with excellent service! I ended up catching the flu during my time in Florence and was unable to leave my room for a couple of days, but the concierge helped order and receive takeaway food on my behalf (and even brought it directly to my room); they honestly went above and beyond. The breakfast buffet is also wonderful -- definitely try the apple cake with your cappuccino! :)

Rooms are small and cozy and priced as such. Hotel is centrally located within walking distance of all the sites. Staff is very friendly. Plenty of hot water. Very quiet.
