We had a wonderful, painless experience renting a car for a day with Knowleggi. The staff were very helpful in answering all of our questions and on the day of our rental Francesca took a lot of time to give us detailed instructions for getting to the highway and recommendations on where to park when we returned to the city (which was going to be after closing hours).
If you are coming back late, pay particular attention to Francesca's advice about filling up with gas, as many gas stations we found close to the city were closed; we did find a self-serve station, but as Francesca warned, our chip card would not work and we had to use cash.
We also decided to just leave the car in the parking garage over night, an additional 20 euro charge that we were happy to pay to not have to deal with finding parking and bringing the car back the following morning.
On a funny note, be forewarned about relying on the TomTom GPS--we drove to the Ferrari museum and factory in Maranello and it guided us through an unpaved path through a field at one point. If you've got an international data plan, maybe just use google maps.
All in all, I would highly recommend Knowleggi based on their prices and personalized assistance.

There's a reason why the reviews for Knowleggi are so much better than other auto rental outfits -- their customer service is second to none. First, Francesca held my reservation with just my word that I'd be there. Then, they allowed us to store our car while we explored Florence by foot. They even loaded our giant American-sized bags into the car for us -- no small feat for Fiat 500 we rented. In addition to maps and some highlights of Tuscany, they also provided GPS, which enabled us to travel the smallest back roads of Tuscany, better than Google maps could do! All for a very affordable price. Probably the most amazing experience I've ever had renting a car. Thank you so much, Francesca!

Very good and friendly service. Francesca had maps to show where we couldn't drive, advices what to see and answered questions promptly on whatsapp. She charged us very fairly for exceeding the 250 km per day. Super experience!

My wife and I were in Florence on a family vacation and decided to take a two day trip north by ourselves and escape. Knowleggi popped up on Google and had great reviews so we decided to try them out.
They were great! The car was perfect for our trip, the staff were very helpful! Will definitely be using them again if we make it back to Florence!
