I have quite mixed feelings about this hotel. Some time ago, it must be a superior one but nowadays it's dated and, sorry to be honest, uncared-for, e.g. can be seen on the parking lot, the outer appearance, the gardening, the breakfast, installations ..
After my stay, I got the feeling that my impression might not be shared by locals as they might be more used to this, e.g. when you realize that Catania and Sicilia often looks unfortunately a bit shabby, which is sad. But there are hotels, and not only in the shiny Taormina, who care more about their property, so I think this rating is justified.
+ spacious rooms, a great and very comfortable bed
+ room cleaning staff
+ great seaside
- dated appearance
- overall feeling of not well being maintained
- wifi is only decent
- breakfast
- noisy: You can hear your neighbors talk, in the evening there are parties outside at the seaside (parties are great) that can be heard inside.

Great location and the room was really good too. Comfortable bed. Just the breakfast was a little bit week.

Nice rooms and pool services. The beach is basically the stones on a cliff with a stair to go in, but is wonderful, you can swim between tons of little fishes.

Very beautiful hotel and surroundings. Nice private beach and pool. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. Food and drinks quite expensive but were good. Allowed us to check in early which was handy

Having stayed in hotels worldwide, I am disappointed in catering aspect of the hotel service. Our Rooms are clean and beautiful. The hotel situated in a beautiful site and the rooms are very comfortable. However, there seems to be permanent shortage of food and drinks at breakfast. There are very few options for vegetarians in the choices available. Breakfast times are meant to be 7am to 10am. However, the food and drinks including tea and coffee jugs are empty by 9am. People have to wait for the cutlery and crockery for ages once they run out. Food platters are cleared away when empty well before 10 am. Bread if available is hard and chewy so possibly not fresh. The Bar staff and service is very good and they go out of their way to make you feel special with care and curtesy as well as snacks. Needless to say that we did not eat our other meals at the hotel but ate outside as we get a very good service and proper Sicilian cuisine. After a long day of sight seeing, we would have preferred to eat at the hotel rather than go out again as we have our six year old grandson with us, But we prefer to go out again as we know that we will receive a better service at every place that we go to. There is an excellent Pizzeria ten minutes down the road opposite Sheraton that excels in catering for all ages and is open until late.
