I know it was the owner lady at Da Gemma, because her photo was on the menu. She seated three parties ahead of us, though we were there first. We were covered in flies as we waited nearly an hour to place an order. We finally got up and left when no one would wait on us. My wife and I went next door to IL Peppino where we were invited in off the street by the friendly staff. I had an ice-cold beer in my hand within thirty seconds, and no flies!

Comfortable relaxing place, seafront seating with a great view. Simple menu, but food (including Paninis if you just want a snack or are watching the budget) well made and tasty. Friendly staff. Drinks reasonably priced for Capri.

The best service we received in Italy by far. Very friendly service, food is delicious, very reasonable prices. Easy access to the beach also and free WC.

The food was good and the staff pleasant. We had a great view over the sea, though it was a bit loud and prices were quite high, but that's predictable in Capri.
Would recommend of you're in the area and not too regarding of prices.

Such an excellent spot to get one last drink or bite before getting on a ferry back to the mainland! Had the Capri salad, which was decent. Super friendly waitress helped us. I'd come back.
