Friendly, very tasty food. Good portion size. Ate supper of artichoke salad with a main of steak and a glass of local wine suggested by the waitor. Fantastic meal, wine was the right choice. The salad was fresh and full of flavour with a good deal of parmagiana shavings. The steak was soft and tasty. Look forward to going back.

Oggi in viaggio da Firenze in A1 direzione Bologna.....in cerca di una piccola ma buona osteria...eccola ; da una semplice ricerca su Google:OSTERIA LA LANTERNA!
Personale al telefono molto cordiale e cortese....prima indicazione parcheggio comodissimo a 4 minuti dal Locale....
Arrivati , accoglienza sublime e consiglio sul pranzo ottimo...
Definizione cibo servizio e atmosfera super.. ..proprietario giovanissimo ma attentissimo alla tradizione culinaria bolognese.
Torneremo sicuramente e lo suggeriremo...😊

High quality traditional bolognese fare at a reasonable price. Friendly staff and nice ambience. Large portions as well!

A traditional neighborhood place that serves great food. Don't be fooled by the somewhat old-fashioned style and relaxed atmosphere - the food is prepared very carefully so that the experience is close to fine dining. Not the cheapest one of this type of neighborhood places but definitely worth the money.
