Bleak and anonymous. Just a windswept hole in the cityscape. Only reason to go there is Lighthouse cinema, 5 star, and the rather good bar next door.

Vibrant location to be at on Culture Night, and there is always family-orientated events happening in this area. Being so close to the Luas Red Line is handy, and there is a nice selection of places to eat in too.

This place is best for watching open air movie and living here is like dream loads of open area and plenty of restaurant to eat. The houses are pretty modern and spacious.

My husband and I park in Smithfield most Saturdays. We start and finish our Saturdays in the Square, its just bliss on a sunny day with an amazing atmosphere. It also has good food places and my favourite place of all, The Lighthouse Cinema. While it has come on leaps and bounds in the last 10 years, I hope it improves even more and the best is made of the space.
