Very beautiful and peaceful place to be minus all the dogs without a leash. There are signage to keep the dogs on leash but people hardly care.

Rose gardens are really plesent to walk around - needs a bit of attention but probably the arrival of autumn - will wait and see

Such a beautiful tranquil place!! You can take a peaceful walk along the Liffey watching the rowing teams or just simply sit in the perfectly maintained gardens. The main circular coliseum area with the roses in bloom is stunning. Considering there's a main road just over the wall you can't hear the traffic. Ideal for children to see a piece of Irish history and remember the fallen in battle. Disabled accessibility is excellent and plenty of parking. Ideal family trip.
