Highly recommend going to this museum first before going to other distilleries. This provided a good overview of how whiskey is made and they offer different types of whiskies. Therefore making them not so biased. My friends and I did the tour and you get to taste 4 different kinds of whiskey.

Fun experience with nice selection of tastings at end. Educational with props and guide was knowledgeable and funny. My session was overpacked though, so seating and views hampered. Also would have been nice to hear about regional differences if any. Seemed like in Scotland the regional climate and soils make a difference in the product, this aspect wasn't addressed on this tour.

We had an incredible experience here. Tried a couple flights before going in and our guide, Paul, was awesome. Keep in mind that while tipping is not expected in Ireland, it is a great way to tell someone how helpful or interesting they were. A little bit goes a long way because they genuinely do not expect it.

This was definitely one of my top stops in Dublin! The tour was a great way to learn about the history of whiskey in Ireland as well as more about what to look for when trying various types. For 20 Euro the Premium ticket is a great deal to not only get to take the tour but also sample 4 distinct styles. Our tour guide Hannah was very knowledgeable and really kept the tour interesting. She made some great recommendations too on different things to try and I was able to find a whiskey to bring back with me that I really enjoy. Highly recommend a visit here.

Located beside between famous Grafton street and Trinity College, The Irish Whiskey Museum is is definitely well worth a visit if you're in Dublin. An amazing tour will take you through the history of Irish Whiskey. Informative and friendly tour guides, videos and illustrations enriched visit. In the last room you will learn more about flavours and how to drink whiskey. The tour from a beginning to the end is about an hour. If you want to learn more about Whiskey and it's roots, Irish Whiskey museum is an attraction for you. This experience is interactive and entertaining enough to keep you intrigued. Highly recommended.
