Location is second to none. We stayed in a superior room but I've stayed in 4 stars that were nicer. Lobby is very bland. Next time I'll stay in a 4 star 10 minutes walk away for a third of the price.

Busy hotel that reminds me of a train station. No real foyer as such. Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms are quite small which is surprising given 5 star and expense. No spa facilities. Very very small gym on site but no swimming pool. Breakfast is good and generally included. Would struggle to offer 3 starrs.

I stayed there last week and was extremely disappointed. 5 stars maybe when they were new but last week, 5 stars is a fairytale! The room was exceptionally small. There was not even a place to unpack and put my clothes. My husband and I lived out of our suitcases. The bathroom was very small and dirty. The shower water did not work correctly. The water flow randomly changed and could not be regulated. All that being said, the absolute most disgusting thing was a large stain on the carpet by the desk. Apparently a previous guest spilled what looked like red wine, and it WAS NEVER CLEANED UP. I had to completely avoid walking over there because I did not want to step in whatever is was. Really??? No one saw that gigantic stain? It is beyond my comprehension that the housecleaning staff would just completely skip that and not shampoo the carpet. Oh, and the staff at the restaurant......OBNOXIOUS!!!! I asked for cream with my coffee and she was all put out. The next morning I attempted to order breakfast at 6:57am because we were leaving at 7:30 and the same obnoxious girl told me she could not take my order until 7:00am. I would never stay there again.

We booked it through the amex hotels and resorts program. We were upgraded to a luxury suite upon arrival. The room was spacious and immaculate. The breakfast and dinners in the hotels restaurants were top notch. I would highly recommend starting her if you are visiting Dublin. Central location and a Serene oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Afternoon Tea at the Westbury Hotel was absolutely superb. The experience was so phenomenal from start to finish, including the reservation process. Truly one of the highlights of my 10-day trip to Ireland. They reserved an elegant table for me right next to the windows, so I had a great view of the hustle and bustle of Grafton Street below, and a nice proximity to a very romantic roaring fireplace. Oh so perfect. The service was just so fantastic. I was taken care of by what seemed like a small army of extremely nice and extremely helpful and professional servers. We had such nice little chats. Really a delightful staff. They also made great recommendations of all the great tea options, and I thoroughly enjoyed each tea I tried. You can try as many as you like. The champagne was wonderful and the food was quite excellent. Each tier contained multiple delights; so creatively conceived, fantastically executed, and beautifully presented. It was a perfect, charming, delectable food-tasting adventure. If this is the kind of thing you'd appreciate, then you absolutely must partake. Enjoy!
