My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Clayton Hotel. The gift of the box of chocolates for my birthday was a lovely touch. The person on reception was very professional and welcoming. The staff were very well trained We would certainly recommend the Clayton Hotel to family and friends. We were also impressed with the variety of food for breakfast . We will certainly be returning .
Yours sincerely Winifred and Edward O Donnell .

Great hotel, facilities excellent. Rooms comfortable and clean. Gentleman who greeted us on arrival touted for business for restaurant, promising pre booked table and 10% discount. This was neither sought nor expected, nor I might say delivered, but did make some of our party uncomfortable. He asked if we would require a taxi the following morning then said there was a taxi rank across the road! This was only blip on an otherwise great experience, all other staff were excellent.

Myself and my two teenage daughters chose the Clayton Hotel because of its proximity to Dublin city and the swimming pool. We wanted to treat ourselves to a night away and were delighted to be welcomed as if we were staying for a week. The staff were excellent, the room fantastic - and quiet - and the breakfast was wonderful. A perfect treat.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was great. The gentleman behind the counter was excellent in helping us get checked in early and was very helpful with the location questions we had.
The beds and pillows were very comfortable. both restaurants were very good as well. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.

€250 for a 'superior room' (breakfast not included) which was basically just an average hotel room, like you'd get anywhere for less than €100. Really nothing special at all. The TV was broken, the shower wasn't working, and the bar was closed for a private function.
I got room service and paid €15.50 plus service charge for a pizza that looked like something you'd get for a fiver in a sketchy kebab house. I'm not convinced that the cheese on it wasn't actually rubber.
It was also pretty noisy. All in all a below average experience at an above average price.
