Good 'local' pub. Cheap by city centre prices. Friendly people. Good beer. Don't need to say any more!

Nice friendly pub with a 'local' feel to it although it might not be suitable for all.

Traditional pub outside the tourist area. Great pint of Guinness.

Traditional "suburban" Irish pub with best Guinness in town
I love this pub. If you want to see a bit of traditional Dublin/Ireland away from tourists (still quite close to the city) - then this is the pub to go to. I have probably been there ten times just to enjoy a quiet pint by myself and to listen to the locals chatting away. It is not in a posh area of town but very safe. It also has the shortest line to the Guinness keg (directly underneath bar) of any bar in town. There is also a steady stream of Guinness being consumed. These two things together make for a great Guinness and inexpensive (around 4 euros).
