A very fancy room, which lives up to its French premise. Huge mirrors, art deco furnishings... I'd had a drink when I came, so it may look different in the day, but I was really lovely to be sat among everything here with a couple of pints in me. Good drink and a gorgeous big room.

The place is absolutely stunning. Its architecture is amazing. Atmosphere is great. But the food was blah. I felt it was overpriced for the amount we got and underseasoned. Drinks were okay, nothing special really. I feel like we came just to look.

This is one of my favourite bars in Dublin. Firstly the place is enormous. If you are planning to meet someone here, make sure they tell you where in the bar they will be. Otherwise you could end up walking around for a long time trying to find them. Yet in spite of its size, it still has a great atmosphere. There are plenty of bars dotted about the place, and even when it gets busy (and it does get busy later in the evening ), service is still pretty good. They also do food, and pretty decent party platters. Being here for me is like being part of a huge multi-plotted play. There are groups here from all over the country and the world. English is not the only language you will hear. If you like to people watch (I certainly do), this is the place for you. Finally, it opens until some ungodly hour (4am I think). Enjoy!

Love this place. Café en Seine doesn't look much from the outside, in fact it's frontage is fairly insignificant, however the magic happens when you get inside, and you immediately get transported back to the opulent 1890's stylish, French art-nouveau period... wow! The cafe is much larger than it appears from the outside, very long, and split up into several areas, each with a completely different atmosphere, so there's somewhere for everyone, whether it's a relaxing coffee bar, a light and airy glass-roofed cocktail bar, or the bistro area where a live quartet gently plays. There's even a discrete TV showing sport (without sound) at the end of the bar if you don't want to escape too much! The staff here were very good, pleasant and knowledgeable, and the cocktail list was superb, however it's the decor that makes this cafe bar a must see in Dublin... take it from me, you won't be disappointed!
