Atmosphere was good, staff were average behind the bar, good staff on the floor. The prices of drinks are extortionate unfortunately. Shot of vodka 5e, pints 6e.
I would give it another go if with a group as it has a good atmosphere when busy and if you have tables booked.

Perfect venue for drinks before night out. Bowling, snooker, pool, table tennis and live sports upstairs in the covered smoking area!

It's a really fun place for smaller as well as larger groups. You can do all sorts of different activities such as pool or karaoke or pingpong and there is even a smoker area. In terms of drinks, you can get a variety of beers and cocktails as well as the usual selection of nonalcoholic drinks. The music is fairly loud though, so as it gets crowded, following a conversation gets harder. Supposedly, the food is pretty good as well. Unfortunately, the kitchen closes fairly early (around 10 I think) so I haven't been able to see for myself.

I have regularly attended the Mardyke Entertainment Complex with college friends for the last year or so to avail of the services there and have never had a issue there.
They have several bowling lanes of high quality, an array of pool tables and 3-4 snookers tables, and several table tennis tables on the premises they you can use for a hour or two at a reasonable price. They have a bar serving drink and hot food (depending on time for the food) on site and is also home to Cork's best smoking area. A heated and decked out smoking area with different seating/table arrangements and has 3 different television screens in the smoking area showing different live sports.
