Karikkakom Chamundi Devi also known as Karikkakom Devi Temple is a famous Temple in Trivandrum. The main deity of the temple, is Chamunda Devi (Goddess Durga’s incarnation). Which is made out of five metals- copper, iron, gold, silver and lead. Other deities present inside the temple include Rektha Chamundi, Bhala Chamundi, Yakshi Amma, Bhuvanesweri, Ayira valli and Vinayaka. Outside the temple is a small pond and Nager Kavau which is a kind of nursery housing different species of trees, creepers as well as medicinal plants.
Karikkakom Chamundi Devi Temple is opened every day. The timings are 5:00 am to 11:30 am and 5:00 pm to 08:00 pm.

After Attukal the most popular Devi temple in Trivandrum.. it is midway Kazakuttam and Kovalam on the NH Byepass .. Pongala festival at this temple is attended by most of the local female population. Temple opens at 6 and close at10am later opens ay 5pm and close at 8pm. A fairly crowded temple owned privately.

One of the best Architectural Temple dedicated to Goddess. The rare fact about about this temple is that Chamundi Devi is worship here in three different forms. Maha Chamundi, Raktha Chamundi, Bala Chamundi. We get a good feel after visiting here and our mind become positive.

Great religious place,lot of parking space,lot of subshrines,large space inside the temple and well maintained.Place was very peaceful.

A well maintained temple. Main deity- Godess Kali. Open from 5 am to 8pm.. Ample car parking space available.
