Very badly maintained. Infested with mosquitoes n other insects. The stuffed animal room was stinking beyond tolerance! Very bad signage...ex: Paintings were labelled "painting" with no mention of artist or era or style or any specifics. Filled with school projects. Not worth it. Huge let down.

Small museum.
Not well maintained.
Some good artifacts of stone, wood, sandalwood, ivory has been display but less information has been displays.
There are displays related to machines, human body, argiculture, taxidermy,minerals, textile, armoury, handicrafts.
At the entrance a huge crocodile skin has been displayed.
No photography allowed.
If in pune and have a spare time , then do have a visit.

If you are in the Shivaji Nagar or any nearby areas and you have spare time of hour nd two, it is the nice place to visit..

This is one of old musiuam.this is good for school going students. They can understand basic knowledge.

Good museum, lots of things to see lots of things to learn... Animals look like real, nice models of industrial plants.... Good for kids...
