Had been to many hotels in and outside India but found the beautiful, lovely Lounge at the Hotel Taj Mahal, Mansingh Road, New Delhi, the best ones. It is spacious and would like to sit here for hours together. Colour combination, sitting arrangements, flower decoration, sofa's, side tables, decoration items etc, all is simply the best one. One would amazed to see staircase when going down towards meeting halls, host of restaurants, poolside etc, which is beautiful and developed thoughtfully. Everywhere, the entire staff was observed to be helpful. This review is based on participation in two days conference that was organised in Diwan-i-am and not based on stay in Hotel. However, hotel rates per night is just out of the reach of even rich people. Food served here was good but too expensive. It has got host of restaurants (at least 6 to 7, all varieties, both Indian continental and Japaneses etc), meeting halls: small and big, SPA and Fitness Center, Poolside Lawns, Swimming Pool, Terrace Garden, in-house stores, fast lifts, which are too many in number, big porch etc all which make Taj Hotel one of the best in its type. Entry to Hotel was also smooth and it has got ample parking.

My favourite go to place for "hot caramel cocoa". Their falafel and pita breads are amazing and really filling. Just like its name the place is fit to serve an emperor.

When one is in mood to splurge and relax in luxury, the Emperor's Lounge is the place. Also, a perfect place for a high tea. Everything on their menu seems to have been handpicked and made to perfection. Must try for the love of coffee.
