I stayed for a night at Hotel pavilion . The Room I booked through Make myTrip was standard one and it was in the rear side of the reception . The Room was old British type structure but suffocating . I requested the Manager to change the Room which they were kind enough and did it . It was Ground Floor front side Deluxe Room -excellent one . Since it was vacant they could replace it but during season I am afraid that this will not be possible . Food was prepared as per my choice and the Service people were very cordial and decent . But those who are like me thought that the location of the Hotel would be around lake , they will be mistaken . Hotel is away from the lake and one has to walk down at least a km or so to have a look of the lake .

My visit to the Hotel Pavilion was an absolutely brilliant, I stay at the Deodar suite. The hotel is upscale and the staff is friendly. It's location makes it even better because it is away from the city chaos and provide a calm and composed atmosphere to relax near the Deodar trees.
The food is delicious, probably the best chicken I have had in years. The ambience is soothing also they have a lawn space upfront for the Kids to play.
Pricing is good for the amenities it provides. Overall this is a place worth staying in Nanital.

The bathrooms smell badly.
From 9:30 pm to 8 am you cannot order anything to eat or drink like tea.
No facilities like 2 or 3 star hotels
