Nice place to take kids. Can easily kill 1-2 hours if you have nothing else to do.there are 6 halls. Most interesting is art gallery which has original Ravi varma paintings. Authorities can maintain this better . Was bit dirty, no signs or guidance so as to which section is what. People are pretty unfriendly.

Good and old library inside the museum.... Lot of trees... Old gaint buildings found here... They have to improve a lot in maintaining this... Government has to spend money on maintaining this... Only politicians are seems highly developed but no improvement on public places...

Very informative but the place is not well maintained and has a dingy smell.. not well ventilated.. it is very big and a very long walk.. better make sure you have a plenty of rest n food before you go inside and carry a water bottle and make sure you visit the entire museum.. better to go in the morning so that you will be able to cover the entire museum..

It's just awesome place to spare quality time.
The planty of different things and sculptures are very good.
All the department are well managed.
The details of everything is very nice.

Must visit for history enthusiasts. Not well mantained but has artifacts from 5000 BC to current paintings. Gallery 1 to 6 all have different collections. Gallery 5 modern art gallery is currently closed for renovation. Gallery 1 is the biggest one need more than 2 hours. Museum at fast phase also need minimum 4 hours.
