Oh my God. Please don't go there just because it is cheap. Especially if you have kids, it is a big NO NO place. When I used the geyser in the bathroom, that water from the tap gave me mild electric shock. The water was brownish with metal rust. The floor was cleaned with some strong acid or something, that made me dizzy. Water dripping from AC all thru the night. Ugh, many other things. After all I was really irritated when they asked me to rate them 5. That was my experience here.

It was the worst hotel experience due to which we all face many issues. The room no. 280 on 1st Floor was so small that you can't move or walk properly. The room space was fully occupied just with the bed. The washroom was not in the condition to be utilised. The European toilet seat was dirty and its jet spray was not working properly and can't be used. The shower was covered with rust and water pressure was like that water doesn't want to come out from it. Geyser was also not working but afterwards, on the complaint to hotel staff, it was made repaired but other issues have remained same. The water from the tap was coming of Red in colour and on complaining the same to the hotel staff they replied with the answer that "let the tap open for some hours and let the water comes out because its the rust in the pipeline due to which this dirty water is coming. " In short, the washroom was of no use as they can't be used to get fresh or to get shower/bath. To have food or breakfast in the room, there was no table or any other space than the bed was present to have that and if you have that on the bed then be ready to pay bedsheet cleaning fee. It was our good luck that we have booked 2 rooms, so we all 4 members were using our second room's washroom and also for every other purpose, even to kept our luggage and bags also. Due to which every day we get late in the morning to move out to enjoy the tourist places of Kolkata. Breakfast service was also late and on 29 October no breakfast was made available to us till 8 AM and we left without having a breakfast only. Even every day repeatedly when I go out in the morning I handover the Room Key of room no. 280 on reception by saying the word that "I have checked out of this room and you can give this to anyone and I need another room which should be fine" as because I booked this hotel from 28 October 2017 to 31st October 2017 but when I come back in the evening they simply say that no room is available other than this. As I did online booking from OYO ROOMS for 3 days of 2 rooms for double occupancy, I was helpless to leave this hotel because in any case, I have to pay full booking amount. No wi-fi service provided. We were 4 members but only 2 towels were made available to us and on the name of toiletry kit only 1 soap of hand wash was provided. If I share my overall experience with this hotel then it was a 2-floor small hotel at the congested place of the city which was far from every tourist place of Kolkata which makes high your cab expenses. An airport is at a far distance of travelling time 1 hour from a cab. But the only thing I like about this hotel was its staff due to which I give this hotel 2 star at the place of 1. The hotel staff was nice in nature and polite. But the hotel's manager was a wise person, he asked me that "Sir, please give me your phone" I said- why. Then he replied that "you have booked online, so to open the OYO APP and give us 5-star rating". I simply gave him an excuse and move away from him. The hotel staff was aware of every issue I faced but it was the unknown and new place to me and I was with my family also, so I didn't want to be in any trouble that's why I paid the complete amount by debit card without deducting any inconvenience charges. The pics uploaded by the hotel of the rooms are hard to find in reality by all because as according to the conversation with the hotel staff the pic is of one room only and which was taken by a professional camera to be uploaded for online bookings. My hard money was simply wasted and my happy journey is also turned into a bad travelling experience.
