They are not trust worthy
When I approached its counter for an emergency bood report they said if blood gets collected before 1200 pm then that specific report would be ready in three hours. We paid much more then the standard charge Rs 1400 for NS 1 antigen ...after collecting blood and money they said report will be ready after 700 pm.
Now you understand why people say kolkata Apollo in particular is a heal. They are just bunch of cheaters. Yes government hospital are doing great job but for many going to government hospital is not possible and these kind of clinics are taking people on ride. It seems only way out ...more government investment where one can pay but gets the reports in time.

1400 for NS1 is an extortion!
Well, even for a blood test for Dengue NS1, they asked us to wait till 630PM. They charged RS.1400 for this test. I wonder what is really going on in Kolkata? It seems the state government gave a free run to charge for a test that cost elsewhere in this country much less, for example in Delhi it is regulated with a price tag of Rs 600. In kolkata, it is a free run and Mamata is just waiting for the crisis Dengue to pull her government down. I wonder why she keeps a double standard on medical issues. It is not possible for all its citizen to go government hospital. In other epidemic area of Dengue say Noida or Delhi, there is an emergency telephone number for NS1 blood test! Mamata government is pretending by hiding data on dengue infections and related death by distorting medical reports.

Tottaly disgusting experience in first step of booking an appointment to see a doctor . Have been to doctors in big metros in india , singapore , dubai , london . Nowhere in the world a patient is made to feel like a beggar for appointment ! Pathetic
