This place is not exquisite, if you don't know its history. (courtesy Khaki Tours)
It's built in the Peshwa style of architecture with wooden arches, which are almost hidden under the shed now. The style is not very evident in other Temples in the locality. There is a stone monolithic deep-stambh (candle tower) standing besides the temple, resembling the Goan style of stambh. The neighbouring house overlooking the temple is dated to 1911 AD.
