The waiters are very non responsive. They take their own sweet time to even take your order. The guy at the front door managing walk ins is hopeless too! Doesn't know how to track the order that people walked in. Kind of kills the experience of visiting Koshy's even before it begins. The food though is good if not exceptional. It survives mostly because of the charm associated with its heritage. Has really old photos of Bangalore and other associated old world imagery and artifacts. Worth a visit? Spare yourself the trouble if you're visiting Bangalore for a short period. And if you're a resident in Bangalore, you can maybe spare one weekend to quickly see what the fuss is all about 😉

Been here recently with my office colleagues on a weekday lunch. To say the least, almost all the items on their menu is priced and doesn't justify their taste. It is an iconic place and better known for their breakfasts but I would definitely avoid visiting Koshy's for lunch.

This place has some of the best dishes in the town. The environment is suitable for going with friends as well as family. I personally love some senior people working there, who will certainly impress you with their hospitality.

Read reviews and decided to visit this restaurant. As the reviews said, it's actually really old and the crowd here suggests that people of all ages visit this place, particularly the old people, it seems that they love this place and have been visiting it for a long time now, as I can see as I'm here right now, they are greeting each other, as if everyone knows everyone. Really good environment. Food was just ok for me as I'm a vegetarian and this is mainly a non veg restaurant. But the environment and cheerful talks create a feel good factor. Loved my visit here.

One of the most oldest classy restaurants in the entire city. Probably started in the early 1950s. An incredible place which has remained the same over the years. English breakfast may not suit everyone. Lunch is typical with a blend of North Indian and south Indian cuisine. Staff can be a little more courteous but considering their age, them being impatient is somewhat understandable. One of the most historic places of the city as depicted on their menu card.
