Views are as best as they get in Bengaluru. Good generous cocktails. Nice staff. Decent music. Haven't tried their food.

HYPE is one place I have been wanting to go from a Long time. Had been to ssafaron few times , Having liked Ssafaron wanted to try out HYPE for sure with friends. located on 19th floor , the view is impressive especially later in the evening. We order Drinks and Food , both were Just great will definitely give them 5 stars except for the below incidence. And not very often I give a place 1 rating unless whole experience becomes a disaster . When the Bill came , we were surprised to see it More than expected. It was happy hours , since we were 6 friends we all ordered drinks and shared them. On an average each of us had 3-4 drinks but same was not reflected in the Bill. I informed the person who handed me over the bill that there is something wrong with the Bill around 8:50pm , and the revert was the person who took order has gone out for dinner and it will take him time to return. we waited for 10 minutes and again reminded that we are getting late , after 2-3 attempts of trying we found out that he has gone for dinner and we will have to wait for him to return which was around 9:30 pm. Almost 30-40 minutes of wait in a place like this. When we asked the person who took the order to clarify , his explanation was most bizzare which is in 1+1 offer sharing is not allowed and I told him this was not made clear in the beginning secondly I asked him why were we charged 700Rs for a cocktail and his answer was for cocktail we always charged twice the base of regular drink even though there is some wastage(Not whole quantity utilized made to make the drink) and I asked him why were we not informed about this and he had no answer since we were in hurry we settled the bill even though we paid more.
Later I went to their website and raised a complained since I did not want to take this in public forum. Got a call from a Manager called Jay , he was prompt and nice. He collected all information from me and told he will get back in a while which he did. Firstly he tells me that regular cocktails are 600 Rs while others not. So I asked him what are the regular one's and he told me that cocktails like Cosmopolitan ,etc., But I told him we asked the person who took order he asked us to choose from regular liquor option only. To which Jay acknowledges as lack of knowledge , secondly I asked him why the charge 700 and why was it neither mentioned in menu nor informed while taking order to which he did not have explanation , thirdly on the liquor quantity he tells standard measurement is 60ml for cocktails globally and I was supposed to know that. I do not understand how can these people expect customers to know all this and this contradicts the wastage point mentioned above . My only argument to that was if standard measurement why were we not charged 600 instead of 700 he again had no answer. Finally I asked him to give me all details over email to which he promised but it has not been received so far. But I like his attitude to invite us again and we will not be disappointed :)

Lovely location on the 19th floor. Great view of the city. Music was a little loud to my liking but can't complain. Will be there again.
