The waiters have a don't care attitude and seem like they are forced to work here. The buffet layout is sad. There will be food cards and no food there.

Staff is nice. Place is clean. This review is about the food. Ordered Ala Carte as against the Buffet menu which probably would have been better and cheaper.
Issue:
Ordered Asian fried veggies with a bit of gravy. What I expected was exciting look of the dish with veggies cooked just to the right point. What I got was 'raw garlic' and 'almost everything raw: broccoli, French beans and baby corn'. Only item that was OK was carrot which I believe was pre cooked/pre steamed.
Items in Buffet looked better I guess. Restaurant may not be ready to serve Ala Carte all the time. And this may just be the only and biggest problem.
Did I complain to staff and get my food changed? No. I hate being responsible for food wastage (I know it would have been the chef).
If Novotel wishes to market it's restaurant, they got to do a lot better job on quality. Else if focus is just the hotel side of business- it is obvious.
Will I give them a second chance? May be.
