The rooms were pretty good value, but I didn't like the area the hotel was in; extremely busy and people stared a lot, and full of shops selling machine parts. Don't even try to walk here. So all the time to and from the hotel you need to take a rickshaw. Also the hotel doesn't have many backpackers but more elder tourists; no place to sit except the garden restaurant (did look nice though) Next time I will stay close to the Taj. This area was a lot quieter and more suitable for backpackers, with lots of cheap places to eat, and close to everything.

Very nice hotel. Amazing staff with good advice to visit the city and very good restaurant in a beautiful courtyard.

Clean room, courteous service and quieter than expected due to it's location. Also, if you have dinner there, the courtyard offers a nice setting. On the down side, no hot water, toilet wouldn't flush properly, Wi-Fi doesn't reach the room and mosquitoes have invaded our room because we left our windows opened for some fresh air.

Rooms are small and beds are comfortable as well. Bathroom is somewhat small. Free Wi-Fi is available, but available only on the ground floor. Food is not good at all. Better to eat outside.

Tourist Rest House is an ideal place to stay when you are in Agra. Reasonable room tariff with enough amenities for a family trip. Serene and quiet environment with lots of Foreigners. Food is best as it is freshly home cooked by the owner himself and his team. Room service is a bit lethargic though without any lack in humility. Collection of Books is available in the sitting area to read. Parking is a bit tricky as two wheelers will be asked to park inside the TRH (Lobby) given no parking space outside except for the pavement by the road.
