I had a very pleasant experience at this place. The servers ware very friendly and welcoming. It seems they have different approach here and they don't circle your table every time you put your spoon down, but I appreciated that greatly, because I didn't feel pressured to finish and leave. I was warned prior to coming to Iceland that food is not good, but the food here was excellent. The fish was fresh and the portion was of a good size. I don't know what to say about the price since everything here is way more expensive than in the US, but it seemed to be on the par with everything else. I would recommend this restaurant.

Good stop for for drinks if you've eaten somewhere else. Lots of locals and slot machines in a small room of to the side. Works by local artists on display.

The only place in Iceland where we said : ok, we finaly experienced the famous 'expensive and not good' in Iceland. We took 2 lambs and 2 fish of the day. None finished its plate because to much fat, strange choice of side vegetables and bad French fries. We just wanted to come back to the hotel and sleep. Service is unfriendly. Pass your way if you have choice.

Such a disappointment, even at half the price. The only good thing was the lobster soup. The waiter forgot about us once the food was delivered, even forgetting to return with water, completely cutting us off from drinking anything. Never came back to check on us, seemed surprised when we came up to the bar to pay. Came here because they're open later. Tomorrow we'll get out earlier so we have better options. Don't waste your time or money. Had to stop at the local fast food joint because kids were still hungry. Oh, and they charged us for another table's hamburger.

This restaurant is good for groups, has a very nice ocean view and a friendly and chatty server. Food is a mixed bag, I had what was labeled a panfried Schnitzel, but it appeared to be deep fried and was grossly oily and salty. On another night, everybody said the fish of the day fish was fabulous and my spaghetti Bolognese were good. Located close to the airport. Not many small dishes, full bar. Large capacity.
