Interesting place under the town. It was used as a wine cellar for the church. If you like half-lit labyrinths then it is a must for you. Tour starts at every hour and takes about 45 minutes.

This is an empty cellar and our tour was in Hungarian. As a foreigner this place is not worth going if you can't understand the History.

Watch out! It is cold down there! Recommended program, interesting and different perspective on the city and nice stories. Foreign language translations could be of higher quality. If you are not hungarian, you only get a fraction of the infos.

We really enjoyed this tour under the Basilica. Cold though, make sure you have some warm clothes else you may have to rent some handy, but stinky, blankets that they offer. It includes information about wine cellars in general, the way in which the Church used wine as a tax on the people in the area and how the cellars eventually went into disuse.
