Dined here twice during are stay in Budapest and if I could give it more than five stars I would, the food was top notch the service impeccable and the view watching the sun set was incredible. Best to book early to guarantee a river side table with best view and highly recommend the duck which was delicious.

We have found the hospitality and food here to be at a high level, with views over the Duna and the Buda castle making for a memorable evening for the second year running. However, on this occasion we were told that having requested the bill before declaring that we had Budapest cards we would have to forgoe the discount and pay full price. Despite being offered a shot of pálinka each as recompense we can't help feeling rather cheated out of at least a couple of thousand forints and will be sampling a different riverside restaurant for our next return to Budapest.
