I generally don't like beer but there are a few exceptions. Ginger beer, the real alcoholic kind and not beer with a little bit of gingery flavor is one of my favorites. You can't get them very rarely but this small shop had some. The staff was very friendly and the shop had a cosy pub flair.

Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff. Large selection but very few actual quality beers. No form of packaging only a plastic bag for extra fee. Very disappointing overall.
Update: As the owner asked for more details I am happy to oblige. When I enter a store I expect the seller to look me in the eyes, greet me and provide me help, maybe suggest something. Instead the seller was just throwing stuff around in the back barely paying any attention. When I tried to pay with a higher value note she made faces without even looking asking for a smaller denomination (which I am not obliged to provide but I did.) Then she just left the bottles on the counter without offering any sort of packaging, was I supposed to put three beer bottles in my pocket? I don't mind the fee, but even in tesco's they offer a bag or something. Then (unwillingly, making faces) she provided a plastic bag (which is a terrible way of transporting multiple bottles as they might shatter) for a fee. I believe it is my fault I was expecting a premium store with a premium service, instead I felt like going to some low grade butcher, I'll go elsewhere when buying beers for gifts next time. I give two stars as the beers I bought were decent (though that's not up to the store) and the prices were OK.

A giant selection of beers, but not all are cooled. In the back you can sit as in a pub, but don't be mistaken: if you consume there, the price goes up by 20%!

Englishman working in Budapest. Love this place. A beer shop with seating. Over 400 different craft ales, at retail prices, but with an atmosphere of a friendly pub. Amazing beer selection. Lovely, welcoming & informative staff. Highly recommend.
