This place is lovely... Not accessible! It's such an old building... Superb location, beautiful spacious room and modern bathroom... Great breakfast all fresh and delicious... Highly recommended

We were in Chania without a reservation June of 2011 when we were lucky enough to get a room at the Alcaneal Boutique Hotel. It was my wife's birthday. An impressive start was the staff refusing to let us drag our bags (my wife's was almost 60 lbs) upstairs to our room. We were booked into room 1 directly above the lobby entrance. What a treat. Walking on 400-500 year old floor boards warn smooth from the years.
The staff was warm, courteous staff made us feel more than welcome. The price was right and the hotel was beautiful. We would definitely return and we endorse the Alcanea Boutique Hotel to everyone who tells us they're going to Chania. Love it!
