A small intimate museum with a select and eclectic collection. The foundation reveals part of the ancient city walls, which are worth a visit. The terrace cafe has an amazing view.

Great facility that is very well organised with plenty of gems to see, from Quranic manuscripts, to Ottoman era weapons and treasure chests. Very enjoyable. The rooftop cafe, has a great view with great coffee and food. The staff are also very friendly.

The rooftop cafe is one of the nicest locations in all of Athens. We would have liked to have stayed for a coffee or Aperol spritz, but everyone else has discovered this as well and it was quite crowded. The museum, however was quite empty on a Saturday. The museum selection is very well curated, organized by time period. There is not too much to see here however-- you can get through in about 30 minutes or so.

A bit expensive but worth it. See one of the best Islamic art collections worldwide and sip coffee enjoying one of the best rooftop views of Athens.

Fantastic museum with unique exhibits. Highly recommended. One photo shows the view from the rooftop cafe and the others show some of the exhibits. Our visit included a guided tour of the museum with an excellent guide.
