Right along the Neckar river, hotel NH Heidelberg is in a great location. The staff is knowledgeable and speaks English, and can guide you to where you need to go. The area with street shopping and where you can purchase tickets to the Heidelberg castle is about a 25-30 minute walk, but it is straightforward and easy. The hotel itself has a giant lobby (because it used to be a brewery), with a bar and restaurant. The rooms in the hotel are very spacious and have all necessary amenities. There is an on-site parking garage which costs about €21 per day. The breakfast is not included and I did not try it, so I cannot comment on it. The hotel is very modern and well kept. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Heidelberg.

I visited the hotel few years ago with my family. The hotel is wonderfully situated, with spacious rooms and great breakfast. The personell was also very kind.

Well, hotel looks good, very good location to the Office. The problem was hotel's crew. Since i made up check-in problems started. Instead of whole week (booking over the internet) it was single day. Once i informed reception desk crew about this issue, they were not pleased to make correction. Same happened to all my colleagues.But finally done.
Then Air condition was not working even i have booked the suite with AC.
Also suite access card was one day deactivated for me and all my colleagues as well, thus we had to go to reception desk to re-code, no idea why, no explanation given.
Last breakfast was charged in addition (even above the paid breakfast) due to senseless internal system.
I would say all troubles were cauused due to improper crew handling, otherwise suite is comfortable, big enough, breakfast tasty, sufficient.

Stayed here for a night while on a motorbike Tour.
Nice room, nice hotel.
Didn't take the breakfast, as, with most hotels, it's very expensive.
They allowed us to park our bikes for free in an out-of-the-way place which was nice.

Very nice reception area and welcome. Rooms were okay but not great. Nice location, 5 minute walk to the train station.
